Lee Tinnon

b.1990

Lee Tinnion on the steps of his accommodation, NoFitState Circus back lot, Edinburgh 2013Born in Newcastle, Lee, from Ponteland, had his first circus encounter with No Fit State Circus as a young free runner in “Park Life”, SIRF 2009. He’s main skills are acrobatics, wall trampolining, juggling and parkour/free running.

He studied maths at Newcastle University and was a key member of the University Circus Skills Society, ending up as treasurer. During these three years he trained in the evenings at Circus Central and was a leading figure in the Newcastle free-running community. He spent summers volunteering with No Fit State in Cardiff. He trained, and worked closely as a teacher, with Hollie Johnson. Both joined the Five Ring Circus Troupe as senior members in 2012.

Lee later “ran away” from the Five Ring Circus Troupe to join the No Fit State Circus as a trainee performer and performed in the 2013 tour of “Bianco”. He is the first graduate of the Five Ring Circus to enter the professional industry with a touring circus company.
