Dan Brown

b.1986

Dan Brown 2012Dan Brown, aka Danny5, started work on a tall ship at the age of 17. He is a Chippy and surfer and started spinning in 2008. He first met Let’s Circus in 2009 at Circadium and came to North Tyneside Youth Circus as an older member in its early days.

He has a cheeky chappy style delivery for his street act which includes a bed of nails and fire skills. He has worked for Let’s Circus and Circus Central as a performer, workshop leader and on the technical side, making props. He has also worked alongside French fire installation company, Compagnie Carabosse on their fire gardens in Durham Cathedral, Stonehenge, Milton Keynes and L’Derry. Working with Claire Harvey he helps manage the “Drop it like it is Hot’, Five Ring Circus’ youth fire crew. He works under the name Labyrinth and has a workshop in the Ouseburn.
