Bell & Bullock

1991 – date

Bell and Bullock’s Pirate themed perambulatory street acts  - Performing in Hartlepool, Tall Ships Event 2009Bullock was made redundant from the Navy in 1985. He started juggling at “the Elephant Fair” in Cornwall. Attended Fool Time, Bristol and in 1987 he was their trapeze teacher.

Bell, a Newcastle Polytechnic student started learning circus skills in 1990. She went on to perform with Chimaera in Teesside, and also to study at Fool Time.

Karen Bell & Dafe Bullock, from Co Durham, were both members of the Newcastle Juggling Club. Together, with the aid of the Enterprise allowance scheme, they started their circus partnership as ‘Eazy Trapeezy’. Their first show was called “The Game of Life” 1991. They created circus shows performed on a rig attached to their vehicle. They based for a time at the Buddle Arts Centre 2004 – 2008 and have toured the country with their Street shows. and worked across the region as community circus teachers. They also work in local hospitals as Clown Doctors with Tin Arts, based in Durham.
